This lovely writer / artist from Mountain View, Missouri has just recently completed a twelve song CD of all original contemporary christian / country songs titled, "Hold On". The CD produced by Gary Smith contains true life experiences of the writer's life. It is truly a refreshing message of hope and faith in these troubled times. The song "Ribbons Of Love" is destined to become a standard in country music. Be looking for great things from this writer  /  artist.

 

 

MICHAEL BREWER / RETRO MAN

Michael Brewer of Brewer & Shipley fame, releases new self-penned "concept album", "Retro Man". A personal expression of socio/political/spiritual thoughts and feelings, Retro Man comes with a printed warning...."This CD contains material defending the Bill of Rights and the Constitution of the United States, and may lead to independent thinking". The recordings feature performances of Michael's family and with few exceptions, almost all of the musical instruments were played by Michael and Nottingham's Gary Smith. JUSTIN DAVID BERTOLDIE

Justin David Bertoldie completed a DVD sampler for submission to the"Nashville Star" television special at Nottingham. Bertoldie, known as Justin David, has been playing with legend Roy Clark for several years. The DVD, which contains his solo performances, original writing and personal bio and history, was submitted to the current and ongoing national contest, "Nashville Star". Justin made the final round. We at Nottingham enjoyed working with Justin and wish him the best!

  From Macon, Missouri, The Dysart Family has just recently released a new CD recorded at Nottingham Recording. The CD titled, "It Was Love" was produced by Gary Smith for Lewain Dysart and his fine family. Their harmonies are tight, the original songs are fresh and their commitment is true and focused. HARMONY BAPTIST CHURCH

   This fine vocal group from Rogersville, Missouri recently recorded a 12 song CD of praise and worship songs. The group led by Jim Bates, recorded most original songs with a new twist to a few gospel standards. Click on the link at left to hear a sample!

 

 

 

A.M. PYROTECHNICS. LLC

   Aaron Mayfield of A.M. Pyrotechnics. LLC, just completed the audio tracks and voiceovers with Gary Smith for the upcoming Western Winter Blast Fireworks Convention to be held in Lake Havasu City, AZ.  Feb. 14-18, 2007.    Sherrie Johnson, a new contemporary christian artist from Springfield, Missouri has just released a new CD, "Suddenly", an eleven song package that includes selections from some of the industry's finest writers. THE GOLDEN GANG

   The Golden Gang, produced by Jon Cole, is a sensational group of veteran dancers and vocalists that just completed a new promo DVD at Nottingham. Gary Smith did taping of the group in Branson at the Majestic Theater. The Golden gang, previously known as The Branson Follies is opening in a new venue in early 2007. Watch for their show!

 

 

 

BEN JOHNSTON

The final mixes and mastering have just been completed on a five song project for Ben Johnston. Ben, a West Point graduate, has been doing additional training at the military base in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. His new disc features all original material with Ben's vocals and acoustic guitar. This acoustic/alternative rock package features Marty Lovelace on drums, Doug Driesel on Bass, Mark Owen on keys and Gary Smith on electric guitars. Click on the picture to hear a sample!

 

 

THE SIGNATURE QUARTET

Editing and final touches have just been completed on a new live CD from Monett, Missouri's own, Signature Quartet. This outstanding quartet features a southern gospel style with a progressive edge. The quartet spends a great deal of the year on the road and enjoys a large following. This is the second live CD from the quartet, and by the overwhelming response, we are sure it won't be the last. NEIL GOLDBERG'S CIRQUE - BRANSON, MO

Vocals were done recently for a new CD for Neil Goldberg's Cirque show in Branson. The new CD features songs and the soundtrack for this very unique show. If you are in the Branson area, this is truly one you won't want to miss!

 

DEBBIE BRADY

   A new twelve song CD has just been completed for Debbie Brady. The new CD includes new versions of yesteryear's favorites like, "You Belong To Me", I've Been Everywhere", Lonesome 77203, and songs from pop / country icons like Brenda Lee and Wayne Newton. Debbie, form the Detroit, Michigan area,  was featured as a vocalist in this last summer's filming of the "Live In Branson" show with Al Brumley, Jr. to begin airing on PBS March 18th. Be sure to look for Debbie in March and the premier of the new CD!

 

 

 

LESLIE POPE

Back home in December from a seven month tour of duty aboard the USS John F. Kennedy in the persian gulf, Leslie Pope, a BMI writer has tracked 8 new songs at Nottingham. The new eight will make a total of 19 she has recorded.  Her publisher, Gary Smith, Wolfsmith Music BMI,  has high hopes for several of  the new works especially, "I Found A New Man" and "Queen Of Hearts". Pope is currently stationed in Jacksonville, Florida and spends all her free time writing.

 

 

 

VAUGHN'S RECORDING SUITE / BOBBY EVANS

Vaughn Rowsell, owner and engineer of "Vaughn's Recording Suite in St. John's, Newfoundland has been sending down tracks via FTP to Gary Smith at Nottingham to do addititional overdubs on various projects. Taking advantage of the deep pool of musicians available through Nottingham, Smith sends the tracks back to Rowsell when completed. One of the projects includes songs from Rowsells father, Newfoundland's own, Bobby Evans. Evans and Rowsell's group, "The Cobblestones" will be performing concerts at the St. John's and Labrador West Arts & Culture Centers in March & April.

 

 

ALISON NEIL

Song selection is complete for Alison Neil from Springfield, Mo. This vibrant redhead can deliver the goods. Alison, with her country/bluegrass/blues hybrid type of voice has tracked four new songs from some of Nashville's best writers and publishers. Gary Smith acquired the material for Neil and is producing the project for the Springfield, Missouri native. With no definite plans for the future, Neil is focusing on completing the song package and seeing where it goes from there. Look for further updates on this young and exciting artist !.

 

 

 

BETTINE CLEMEN

Internationally renowned Flautist Bettine Clemen has scheduled bookings in February at Nottingham to edit a new video for international release. Bettine has thrilled audiences in over 85 countries with her innovative Solo shows and has performed in some of the world’s greatest halls like the Lincoln center in New York and the Royal Albert Hall in London. Her unique concerts combine many different styles of music ranging from light classical to Pop, Jazz and Ethnic with stunning videos of “concerts” for over fifty different species of animals in places like Petra Jordan, China, Japan, South America, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Alaska, Russia, and many places in USA.

 

AL BRUMLEY JR.

Overdubs are almost complete for Al Brumley Jr's new CD. The CD, which is an upbeat collection of jazz / big band songs, features new horn and string arrangements from some of the area's finest arrangers and musicians. The Brumley family is known throughout the music industry. Brumley's father, Al senior, is best known for authoring the timeless gospel classics, "I'll Fly Away" and "Turn Your Radio On", to name a few. Al's brother, Tom Brumley is a nationally acclaimed steel guitarist. The release of the new CD will be an exciting time for Brumley, as he states that "he has always wanted to record this style of music". And, by the sound of things here at Nottingham, we agree!
